Proposal for extension of 1D canSAS format to 2D

The current canSAS XML data format supports I(Q) vs Q data i.e. some azimuthal average from a 2D scattering pattern.

In order to support analysis of non-azimuthally symmetric data (e.g. shear aligned systems) a similar format that allows for vectors of values and different fields is required.

An example of the proposed format for discussion can be found in the repository along with the associated schema:

Schema: http://svn.smallangles.net/trac/canSAS/browser/1dwg/trunk/cansas2d.xsd
